Bay Area Pet Pals welcomed Kim to the team in the Summer of 2016. Kim has been a passionate animal lover since she was a child, and she has always had animal companions in her life – many were rescued cats and dogs. Her current furry best friend is an 11 year old, hearing impaired, Pap Chi (Papillon/Chihuahua) named Brady – whom she describes as the “love of her life”.
Kim has lived on the Peninsula for most of her life. While living in the San Carlos hills, she was known to rescue lost dogs that she had encountered while on walks. Even on vacation she will help animals in need. While recently vacationing in Tahoe, she rescued a frightened stray dog on Highway 101.
As a licensed therapist, Kim has the ability to sense the needs of animals just like she can with people. Dogs and cats (even the especially timid ones) are often drawn to her and she is able to develop a bond quickly with them due to her nurturing, compassionate, and patient personality.
Kim’s love and passion for animals make her an ideal Pet Pal. She looks forward to meeting your furry or feathered family members for a pet sit visit or an enjoyable walk!
