Social Distancing: Good Tips for during this time at home with your Pets
The work to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus has caused employees to work from home or become laid off as companies and businesses temporarily close. Local governments have been encouraging social distancing and self quarantine, so many people and families with pets are finding themselves stuck indoors for long periods with their pets and without the usual access to pet sitters, dog walkers, groomers, and dog daycares.
But do not worry too much — keeping yourself and your loved ones — furry, scaled, or feathered – happy and content at home can be fun and rewarding!
The Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and the American Veterinary Medical Association have all stated that pets are not at risk of spreading COVID-19, and science has shown time and time again that adding an animal to your life makes you happier and healthier.
