Natalia

Natalia joined Bay Area Pet Pals at the beginning of 2019. She grew up in Italy, and the love for all animals runs in her family. She was very young when she started bringing home stray and injured animals. She moved to California 23 years ago with her husband and 2 sons. Natalia is fluent in Italian, German, English and is working on Spanish. She has worked most of her life in hospitality, hotel, restaurants and cafes, here and in Europe. But the thing she loves the most are animals and spending time with them.

Natalia has been volunteering since 2011, 4-5 days a week at the Peninsula Humane Society-SPCA. She started with wildlife and the kitten nursery, and for the last 5 years, she has been volunteering with dogs. During this time, she adopted 3 cats and one dog. Her dog Charlie was adopted and returned to the shelter 5 times before she got him.

She loves to walk, hike, read, laugh, horseback ride and travel. One of her favorite places to go is Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah where she can hike and volunteer with dogs and horses.

She can’t wait to care for your beloved pets while you are at work or on vacation. She understands how important it is for you to know that your pets are safe, loved and a bit spoiled while you are away.
