Alex

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Alex has had a lifelong love for animals—especially dogs and cats. His journey as a pet lover began in first grade when his parents brought home twin Australian Heelers. He grew up with them through his school years, building a deep bond that would shape his passion for pet care.

In adulthood, Alex rescued a Chihuahua puppy named Cosmo from a gas station, and during college, he was lucky to have cat-owning roommates. That’s when he discovered he wasn’t just a dog person—he was a cat person too!

In 2011, Alex and his sister moved back home to help their father during his battle with cancer. During this time, the family fostered several kittens and ended up adopting three: Luna, Milkshake, and Lola—who are still beloved members of the family today.

 

For the past 8 years, Alex has been happily dog and cat sitting for friends, family, and coworkers simply for the joy of it. He’s now thrilled to bring that same care and dedication to the Bay Area Pet Pals team!
