Gunnar

Gunnar joined the Bay Area Pet Pals team in the winter of 2026. He has always had a deep love for animals and truly appreciates the joy, companionship, and energy they bring to everyday life. Gunnar understands that pets are cherished members of the family, and he believes that when pet parents are away, it’s essential for their animals to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in a familiar environment.

At home, Gunnar shares his life with his dog, Malfi, who is both his constant companion and favorite adventure partner. Whether it’s long neighborhood walks, visits to local parks, or exploring hiking trails around the Bay Area, Gunnar and Malfi spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors together. Having an active dog of his own has given him firsthand experience with the importance of exercise, consistency, and attentive care in keeping pets happy and healthy.

Professionally, Gunnar brings a background in customer relationship–focused roles, where reliability, communication, and trust are essential. He takes pride in being dependable and attentive, and he enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routines, and preferences. Gunnar understands that every animal is different and approaches pet care with patience, kindness, and careful attention to detail.

In his free time, Gunnar enjoys staying active, exercising, and spending time outdoors whenever possible. You’ll often find him walking with Malfi, discovering new parks and trails, or simply enjoying the fresh air. Gunnar looks forward to meeting your pets and caring for them with the same attention, respect, and affection that he gives his own.
