Nina joined Bay Area Pet Pals in August 2019, bringing with her a deep love for animals. Throughout her life, she has had the joy of caring for four wonderful dogs—Buffy (Retriever/German Shepherd mix), Mika (Black Lab/Akita mix – rescue), Nikki (Springer Spaniel/Collie mix – rescue), and Sierra (Golden Retriever). From puppies to senior dogs, Nina has experienced every life stage with her pets.

Nina has also welcomed eight cats into her home, all of whom were strays or unwanted, bringing extra love and joy into her life. The passing of her beloved dog Sierra in 2017 left a significant void, and she especially misses their walks, playtime, and visits to the dog park.

Since February 2019, Nina has worked professionally as a dog walker and pet sitter, enjoying every moment spent with the pets she cares for. In addition to her professional experience, she has been a dedicated volunteer at a local children’s museum for over 10 years, where she handles a variety of animals, including mammals, reptiles, and birds. Rain or shine, Nina loves to walk and stay active.

As a trained Registered Nurse, Nina prioritizes the safety and well-being of every animal in her care. She considers it an honor to be a part of your pet’s life and looks forward to providing them with the love and care they deserve.
