Valeria

Valeria has been part of the Bay Area Pet Pals team since September 2026.

Originally from Costa Rica, she recently moved to the Bay Area with her husband and now calls San Mateo home.

Valeria grew up surrounded by animals and has cared for seven dogs and one cat over the years. She’s comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and feels right at home spending time with both dogs and cats.

When she’s not walking dogs or caring for pets, Valeria enjoys hiking, cooking, watching movies, and embroidery. She also loves staying active and spending time outdoors.
